Dior J`Adore L`Or

Dior is presenting new J`Adore L`Or, created of rose absolute and jasmine from Grasse. The fragrance arrives on the market end of October as 40ml Essence de Parfum.

The new J’Adore L Or was created by Francois Demachy of high quality ingredients which were the key factor for quality of this fragrance. 'True luxury requires the highest level of ingredients quality and creation' – says Dior. His words were the basis for the new fragrance which will represent the house of Dior perfectly with its golden nuances.

Composition of the new edition includes highest quality materials which leave rich aromas on the skin and make it gentle, silky and soft. Nuance of this golden nectar is more intense and warm, just like real gold. As guarantee of quality, Dior accentuates ingredients used in perfume and which satisfy the highest criteria. The composition encompasses Centifolia rose absolute and Grandiflorum jasmine absolute from Grasse.

Extracts of flowers of J`Adore l`Or originate from "Domaine de Manon", managed by the same family for three generations. This family has been a supplier for Dior for years and they have maintained tradition of high quality till today.

Rose petals and jasmine were hand-picked and their scent leaves an impression of a delicate floral bouquet followed by oriental notes, which give precious charm to the fragrance. The base consists of soft and warm tonka bean absolute and sensual Tahitian vanilla absolute.

Oriental flavor originates from patchouli and drops of amber and labdanum, while leaving an impression of density - as formulated by perfumer Francois Demachy.

The bottle has the same shape as the classic amphora of the house of J `Adore, with the difference in the cap which is decorated with golden threads. Modeled on the Masai necklace (John Galliano's idea), stopper that exudes luxury was created. Face of an advertising campaign is Charlize Theron, the muse of modern gold variation of the perfume, wearing a John Galliano dress. J`Adore L`Or is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2010.

Welcome Spring. It has a lot of flowers and perfumes. part 1

Spring festivals

Mesopotamia

Akitu (Sumerian Akiti-šekinku "cutting of barley", Akiti-šununum "sowing of barley", Babylonian rêš-šattim "head of the year") was a spring festival in ancient Mesopotamia. The name is from the Sumerian for "barley", originally marking two festivals celebrating the beginning of each of the two half-years of the Sumerian calendar, marking the sowing of barley in autumn and the cutting of barley in spring. In Babylonian religion it came to be dedicated to Marduk's victory over Tiamat.

Afghanistan

The first day of spring is the beginning of the new year, Nowruz, in the Afghan calendar. Nowruz (also Naw-Rúz, Norooz, Newroz, Navroj, and many other variants) marks an important traditional holiday festival celebrated in Afghanistan as well as in many other countries such as Azerbaijan, Iran and Tajikistan,

Persia

The first day of spring is the beginning of the new year, Nowruz, in the Iranian calendar. Nowruz (also Naw-Rúz, Norooz, Newroz, Navroj, and many other variants) marks an important traditional holiday festival celebrated in Iran as well as in many other countries with a significant population from one of various Iranian peoples, such as Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, and by Kurdish communities in Turkey and Iraq and elsewhere.

May Day

May 1 is the date of several public holidays. In many countries, May Day is synonymous with International Workers' Day, or Labour Day, which celebrates the social and economic achievements of the labour movement. As a day of celebration the holiday has ancient origins, and it can relate to many customs that have survived into modern times. Many of these customs are due to May Day being a cross-quarter day, meaning that (in the Northern Hemisphere where it is almost exclusively celebrated) it falls approximately halfway between the spring equinox and summer solstice.

Easter

Easter is the most important religious feast in the Christian liturgical year.
Christians believe that Jesus was resurrected from the dead three days after his crucifixion, and celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day, two days after Good Friday.

Chinese New Year

The Chinese Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is often called the Lunar New Year, especially by people in mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. The festival traditionally begins on the first day of the first month (Chinese: pinyin: zhēng yuè) in the Chinese calendar and ends on the 15th; this day is called Lantern Festival. Chinese New Year's Eve is known as Chúxī. It literally means "Year-pass Eve".

India

Holi The most vibrant festival of colours celebrated by Hindus in India. People throw water and apply colour powders on each other.
Vasant Panchami: celebrated in North India

Vietnam

Vietnamese use lunar and solar calendars. The use of the former in this country happened long before the latter had been invented. The lunar calendar is used mainly to divide the year into seasons for agriculture purposes. People of this country start their Spring season with the celebration of Vietnamese New Year, or Tết in Vietnamese. In the old days, the celebration used to last the entire month of January of the lunar calendar. Traditionally, firecrackers are used on New Year's Eve, or đêm giao thừa in Vietnamese, to scare away bad spirits.

Pakistan

Kite festival competitions are held all over Pakistan and awards are distributed among winners.

Chypre Perfume.

Cyprus.

Chypre Perfume
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Chypre is a name used to describe a family (or concept) of perfumes, usually with a top note of citrus and woody base notes derived from oak moss and ambergris. Chypre also frequently contains sandalwood.

History.

The word chypre is French for Cyprus. It was first used in perfumery by François Coty, who created an influential perfume of that name in 1917. However, perfumes of a similar style had been created throughout the 19th century.
Before the 20th century, perfumery was generally an art of recreating nature. According to perfume expert Luca Turin, the two fragrances that began to abstract that idea were Coty's Chypre and Chanel No. 5 (created in 1921).

Style

Modern chypre perfumes have various citrus, herbaceous, floral and animalic notes, but all tend to have a "warm" and "woody" theme, which consists of a base accord of:

Oak moss
"Amber" (ambergris and related synthetics).
Civet or another animalic note is usually added to this accord as a fixative and to give it fullness. The most common modifiers to this basic accord include patchouli, bergamot, rose and rock rose (Cistus).
