NY Fragrance Examiner: Drugstore Beauties: Revlon Flair, Chypre for a new generation


Revlon Flair is the newest addition to the famous drugstore fragrance line, and to fit in with the conservative mood of the time of launch (2006), it's a Chypre. The name is utterly retro ("flair" as in slim waists and big skirts, I'd imagine, 1947 New Look-inspired bottle and all), but it's actually a modern-smelling fragrance that people of all ages can enjoy.

Top notes : passionfruit and black currant;

Middle notes : peony, ylang-ylang and lily-of-the-valley;

Base notes : plum, patchouli and praline.
